This month in celebration of Black History Month, WETA is doing a show called “The Black Church in Washington”. In it WETA explores the Black Church experience in the Washington, DC region, with the stories of several local congregations told by pastors and historians.

A series of short videos promoting “The Black Church in Washington” have been posted and began airing on February 5 between full programs. One of the videos features Asbury United Methodist Church and its Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Ianther Mills.
